Tom is an experienced Physiotherapist, having worked as a Physio since 1993.
He has spent 3 years training in the Ridgway Method.
His expertise is in ‘solving complex injury and pain”.

Tom has extra qualifications in:

  • Sports Physiotherapy (Level 1 and Level 2)
  • Clinical Pilates (Level 4 – the highest qualification available)
  • Dry Needling
  • The Watson Method (Headache assessment/ treatment)
  • Chronic Pain Management
  • The Ridgway Method (commenced 2013)

Tom utilises a ‘whole body’ approach to assessing injury and pain.
He doesn’t just focus on where it hurts, he looks for the cause.
His approach follows a ‘step by step checklist‘, which involves clients and is tailored to get their “good result” as fast as possible.
Once he has established the cause of a condition, he explains this to clients.
All clients then receive exercises and strategies to maintain improvements at home and in between sessions.

He uses lousy jokes in most sessions.

Tom’s interests include treating persistent neck pain and headaches, at the other end of the body he enjoys diagnosing and treating tricky hamstrings and lower backs.

When not at work Tom is an avid surfer, surfing with his kids whenever possible.

He loves gardening and was recently crowned “Willunga’s giant Pumpkin King”.. after growing a record 80kg pumpkin.
